die castingAluminum and Zinc are common alloys for High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC). I represent a die casting company capable of casting larger structural zinc components up to 600 Ton and aluminum components up to 900 Ton. Our niche capability is Insert Casting where we insert bolts, pins and bushings into the die and cast aluminum or zinc components. This eliminates the need to drill and tap providing improved performance at a reduced cost.

powdered metallurgyI find this video helpful when explaining how powdered metal components are manufactured. Many people automatically think of powder coating when they first hear of powdered metal. It seems as though powdered metal is a well kept secret hidden in Western Pennsylvania (origin). The pm company that I represent has presses up to 880 Ton which are some of the largest in the industry. We also offer high temp sintering furnaces for stainless steel components which feeds our largest commodity; automotive exhaust flanges.
